Kate’s Stitch Fix Unboxing

For over four years now, Chan and I have been Stylists at a company called Stitch Fix! We fell in love with the company because their motto is to “help people feel like their best self!” What a great goal to have! And as moms, it has allowed us to have a very flexible work schedule! We can style clients from home or a remote location, and with Stitch Fix servicing women, men, maternity, plus, and now children, our client bases can be pretty broad!

For a fun idea, we recently decided to style each other and share with our followers not only the process, but also how easy it is to incorporate your new pieces into your current wardrobe!

Yes! You can request a specific stylist, and this post is the “unboxing” of my (Kate’s) Fix and what Chan chose for me! If you would like for either of us to style you in your next Fix, we would love that! Simply click this link to sign up for Stitch Fix, and request either Kate Bronson or Chantelle Chandler in your profile notes!

The striped tee

Chan had thought through the process so well! I love stripes so she started with a striped tee! I wish you could feel this one in person! It is so soft, and I am a huge fan of this hemline where it dips in the front and back and is shorter on the sides.

Chan knew me too well with this one because I actually already have  quite a collection of striped tees, and I decided to send this one back. It was a really hard decision because it was so super soft and easy to style!

the open-toe booties

She also included a great pair of open-toe booties which are super fun for transitioning into the fall season! I love, love, love the fit of these! I don’t have much of an instep so shoes that usually have straps or cover the top of your feet typically don’t fit well on me. This caged leather is super soft and hugs my feet so well! I paired these two pieces with white skinny jeans and a statement necklace that I already own!

These are so amazing so they were definitely on my “keep” list!!

jumpsuit

Chan knows that I go out to a LOT of mom’s nights, date nights, and evening occasions….AND I love a great romper or jumpsuit! This one is super cute, stretchy, and that cut out on the back is a great and unexpected detail! Plus, I love that it doesn’t require any special underpinnings!

This one fit a little snug for my liking so I ended up sending it back, but it would be so fun with strappy heels or wedges now….and later in the fall, layer on a statement necklace and a moto jacket!

Strappy Dress

Florals are such an easy way to add a pop of femininity, but they can feel sort of “spring-y” in season. This dress was actually perfect for right now and heading into fall! It is this dark gray tone….almost a really, really deep gray/green color, and the floral accents are totally in fall tones! When I put this on, it fit like a dream! And I kind of felt like I was wearing a nightgown which in my book is a win. Comfort is always key!

This is such an easy dress to throw on and wear with sandals right now! You could pair it with a strapless bra or a little peek-a-boo bralette. I, once again, am in such love with these booties that I threw the on! Then I added this great off-white denim jacket and some statement earrings to finish styling this look for fall!

Ultimately, I ended up sending this one back. I own a lot of dresses and was wanting more easy, “mom wardrobe” pieces for this Fix!

Cargo Vest

This cargo vest….y’all! I have been wanting one for a while now. You know when you keep thinking about an item, but for some reason you don’t ever go buy it. Zero reason why! I just haven’t bought a cargo vest. So, when Chan included this it was going to take everything for me to not keep it…..which when it fit well, it was a score for me!! I will wear this on repeat, repeat, repeat this season!

As a transitional look, I styled my new vest with a basic white knit and white jeans! I wanted it to be the “star” of my look so I kept everything else simple and neutral! I finished with statement earrings and these to the knee boots from the #nsale! I love this look for the coffee hour to the carpool line to a great fall brunch style.

That was my experience! Look for Chan’s soon! It was so fun to receive a Fix!
